Used dichroic color enlargers

Three dials push cyan, magenta and yellow dichroic filters into a halogen beam, and a mixing box blends the result. Omega's C760 dials 0 to 200 in each color. They were built for color printing, and they print variable-contrast black-and-white too. Add magenta for more contrast and yellow for less, starting from the maker's table and testing from there. The lamps are head-specific, like Beseler's 82-volt, 250-watt Dichro 45S lamp, and several were listed out of stock at a specialist when we checked. Buy one with a working lamp, its power supply and a mixing box for each format you print.
